Terms, Conditions, Refunds & Liability

1. Program Overview

Lox Farm Summer Camp (“Camp”) is a program operated by New Life Labor Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in the State of Florida. By enrolling a participant, the parent/guardian (“Client”) agrees to all terms outlined below.

2. Registration & Payment Policy

  • A non-refundable registration fee is required to secure enrollment in any program.

  • All tuition, meals, merchandise, and additional services are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable for any reason, including but not limited to:

    • Illness or injury

    • Behavioral dismissal

    • Family emergencies

    • Weather conditions

    • Natural disasters

    • Pandemics

    • Acts of God

    • Voluntary withdrawal

Lox Farm Summer Camp allocates staffing, supplies, animals, and program resources based on enrollment commitments.

3. Attendance Policy

  • Missed days or weeks will not be refunded, credited, or rescheduled.

  • No compensation will be provided for absences regardless of reason.

  • Failure to attend (“no-show”) does not release the Client from financial responsibility.

4. Cancellation & Withdrawal

  • If a participant cancels:

    • Before the start date

    • On the start date

    • During the program

    • At the end of the program

👉 No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued under any circumstances.

Once enrolled, the Client is responsible for the full program tuition and fees.

5. Camp Cancellation by Lox Farm

Lox Farm Summer Camp reserves the right to cancel or modify any program due to:

  • Insufficient enrollment

  • Staffing limitations

  • Safety concerns

  • Unforeseen circumstances

If the Camp cancels a program:

  • A refund will be issued for unused program time only

  • The registration fee remains non-refundable

  • Refunds will be processed within thirty (30) calendar days

6. Financial Responsibility & Liquidated Damages

The Client acknowledges that:

  • Camp operational costs (staffing, animals, supplies, facility use, and planning) are incurred in advance and do not decrease with participant withdrawal.

  • The exact financial loss from cancellations cannot be reasonably calculated.

Therefore:

  • All payments made are considered liquidated damages (not a penalty).

  • The Client remains responsible for 100% of tuition and fees, even if the participant:

    • Withdraws

    • Is absent

    • Is dismissed

7. Liability Waiver

To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law:

  • New Life Labor Foundation, Lox Farm Summer Camp, and its staff, volunteers, and representatives shall not be held liable for:

    • Injury, illness, or accidents

    • Loss or damage to personal property

    • Events beyond reasonable control

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Weather-related incidents

  • Animal interactions

  • Outdoor activities

  • Equipment use

Liability applies only where required by law.

8. Assumption of Risk

The Client understands and accepts that camp activities may include:

  • Animal care and interaction

  • Outdoor and farm-based activities

  • Physical play and recreational activities

These activities carry inherent risks, and participation is voluntary.

9. Agreement

By registering and submitting payment, the Client:

  • Acknowledges they have read and understood these Terms

  • Agrees to all policies stated above

  • Accepts full financial and legal responsibility

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
